The Five-Star Decision Making System is a simple but complete system for making strategic decisions quickly, easily and productively. It offers specific tools and techniques to support the notion that effective decisions require three things: 1. Quality decisions; 2. Acceptance by stakeholders; and 3. Execution. This notion is illustrated by the equation: Effective Decision = Quality x Acceptance x Execution.
For example, if Q = 100 but either A or E = 0, then we know that 100 x 0 x 0 = 0.
